OEM Tire & Wheel Fitment

This table illustrates each OEMs exposure to difficult to change tire and wheel assemblies.

Low profile and run-flat represent tires that are generally stiff and require special procedures and press devices. Large diameter assemblies sometimes require special clamping consideration. Heavy assemblies can benefit from wheel lifts and other weight control features.

Four different parameters that make up difficult tires and wheels.

  • Low Profile – Fitments 45 series or lower qualify as low profile
  • Run-Flat – Any type of run-on-flat tire.
  • Large Diameter – Wheel size in excess of 20”.
  • Heavy Assembly – Assemblies whose overall diameter exceeds 30”.
